Finding The 2012 Hugo Award Nominees on Twitter

If you’re a fan of Science Fiction, then you almost certainly know that the Hugo Award nominations were announced live on Saturday, April 7th at Norwescon 35, Leprecon 38, Minicon 47, Marcon 47 & Eastercon.

For me, these nominations unlocked a whole new world of awesome Science Fiction talent! For instance I didn’t even know there was a category for Science Fiction podcasts (aka Fancasts).

I also found it really exciting to watch the nominees’ reactions via Twitter. I quickly realized that I needed to locate the Twitter accounts of all of the nominees if I wanted to stay up-to-date. I spent a good amount of time tracking down the Twitter accounts for the nominees, so I thought I would take the opportunity to use this post to share them with fellow Science Fiction fans like you.

By following your favorites, you’ll be able to keep track of their activities between now and the when the awards are issued at Chicon 7 in late August/early September. Of course you’ll also be able to see their reactions at Chicon 7 via their Twitter feeds if you’re not fortunate enough to attend.

The 2012 Hugo Awards winners will be announced live at Chicon 7, the 2012 World Science Fiction Convention, August 30 to September 3, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Being realistic, not everyone who was nominated has a Twitter account. In addition, it’s quite possible that I missed some of the Twitter accounts for the Hugo Award nominees. Here’s where I need your help, if I missed someone, or if you see an error, I’d really appreciate if you add a comment at the bottom of this post or click here to use my contact form to submit the correct information. Thanks in advance and please feel free to share this with other Science Fiction fans.
